Nací en Montevideo Uruguay en 1980. Tras cursar varios años (1993-1999) el taller de Dellioti de artes plásticas incursione en la fotografía de forma amateur a la edad de 20 años. He cursado diversos talleres de fotografía en Uruguay, Chile y España.
En 2004 y 2005 trabajé en VTV y Tenfield (Uruguay) realizando tareas de camarógrafo en prensa, estudio y producción. Mi primer trabajo en medios fue en el diario La Republica (2005) y ese mismo año comienzo a colaborar con el diario “Ultimas noticias”. En enero del 2006 ingreso al staff del diario El Observador (Uruguay) hasta finales del 2008. Durante ese mismo periodo realizo campañas de moda y publicidad. He colaborado con las agencias de noticias France Presse, AP, EFE y Reuters. A finales de 2007 ingreso en el stock Win-initiative (EEUU) con trabajos documentales y de estudio. En 2006 realizo la cobertura del conflicto Israel-Hezbolah en el sur del Líbano, comenzando a interesarme en los acontecimientos cotidianos más que en los noticiosos.
En 2008 gane la beca Roberto villagraz y en enero del 2009 vine a Madrid a realizar el master de EFTI. Desde entonces resido en Madrid y alterno mi trabajo personal con el profesional. Ese mismo año gané el “premio futuro” de mi generación, distinción que se otorga al estudiante con mayor proyección. He centrando mi mirada en la vida de mujeres, buscando historias muy cercanas y cotidianas .Mi interés radica en mostrar una visión moderna y cotidiana de la mujer y su entorno.

I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1980. After completing several years (1993-1999) Dellioti workshop of art forays into photography as an amateur at the age of 20 years. I have taken several photography workshops in Uruguay, Chile and Spain. In 2004 and 2005 I worked on VTV and Tenfield (Uruguay) working in press cameraman, studio and production. My first job in media was in the newspaper La Republica (2005) and this year I begin to collaborate with the newspaper “Ultimas noticias”. In January 2006 I became staff of the daily ”El Observador” (Uruguay) until the end of 2008. During the same period I worked in fashion and advertising campaigns. I was had worked with news agencies such as AFP, AP and Reuters. . In late 2007 entry into the stock-Win initiative (USA) with documentary work and studio. In 2006 covered of Israel-Hezbollah conflict in southern Lebanon, starting to get interested in everyday events. In 2009 after I won the grant “Roberto Villagraz” I moved to Madrid, Spain to study MA Documentary Photography in EFTI, winning the “Premio Futuro” award for best student of his generation (2009).. Since then I live in Madri. My work have evolved towards documentary photography, focusing his gaze on the lives of women, looking closely at everyday stories of the characters. I am currently developing a project on immigrant women. I am interest is to show the modern, everyday women and their environment.
